Success looks like the Inaugural Melanoma and Skin Cancer Nurses Conference held in Sydney last week, hosted by #MSCAN and #MSCNO. Australian and international experts provided the nursing perspective on Australia's national cancer - #skincancer - with a strong emphasis on the importance of patient-centred care. We welcomed nurses from across Australia who enjoyed the informative, fresh and inspiring program content, and the opportunity to network with other nurses passionate about skin cancer care. The conference was so well received we are already planning the next one! #melanoma #skincancer #nurses #MSCAN #MSCNO

“Patient Advocacy and Consumer Representation are just a tick in the box exercise” This was the debate topic at the Australasian Melanoma Conference, with MSCAN CEO, Tamara Dawson and Craig Lawn arguing for the affirmative. Thanks to Prof Grant McArthur AO and Prof Rachael Morton for being such great opponents (and for their genuine commitment to consumer representation). We’re confident that Aussie battlers Tazza and Lawny won the debate 😉 #AMC2024 #melanoma #skincancer #advocacy
