COMMUNITY HEROES AWARD We are grateful to be acknowledged for the work we consider essential to our industry, after being awarded the Australian Lot Feeders' Association Community Heroes Award at this year's BeefEx. This award recognises feedlots that are actively nourishing their communities and environment by going above and beyond to give back. Mort & Co was recognised for the work to train our staff in Mental Health First Aid, and our ongoing fundraising efforts for The Florey. Mort & Co is committed to making a difference." - Stephen O'Brien, CEO Mort & Co. 📸 Scott Braund GM Feedlots accepts the 2024 Community Heroes Award at BeefEx #mortsmates Mental Health First Aid International

“Songlines are a mapping system, just like the stars are to the sailor. Our Songlines are invisible and physical to our cultural lands showing us the way to our homelands as we move across country. They teach us to respect the animals, the lore of flora and fauna, land and place.” -Kim Walmsley; descendant of Mununjali, Ngempa people Mort & Co is proud to have sponsored the Genestream sculpture that was officially unveiled in Singapore today. Thank you to Toowoomba Regional Council for providing us with the opportunity to partner with them to see the Sculpture created in Toowoomba, and transported to Singapore’s spectacular Gardens by the Bay. This structure will continue to share the songlines of our region with the millions of visitors who will visit Gardens by the Bay for years to come. Mort & Co Garden Range Mort & Co Fertilisers

Precinct Urban Planning | A Mort’s Mates Gala Dinner Sponsor and good mate of ours 🤝 "Assisting Mort & Co to raise essential funds for the Florey Institute aligns perfectly with our values, and we are proud to support a cause that undertakes such vital research. At last year’s event, we were able to appreciate the work that The Florey undertakes to advance brain and mental health research. Sam Bloom’s incredible, but challenging story, brought home the realities of traumatic brain injury and how it affects not only the mental health of the patient, but also those around them. It was inspiring to hear how a magpie named Penguin was integral in her recovery and how she helped Sam to want to go on and find joy in her new life. We value our longstanding relationship with Mort & Co and are honoured to once again sponsor this year's Mort's Mates Gala Dinner. " We can't wait to join the Precinct Urban Planning crew this Saturday at Gip's Restaurant.
