About us

Mirvac is a leading Australian property group, with an integrated development and management capability. Established in 1972, Mirvac has over 50 years of experience in the property industry and an unmatched reputation for delivering superior products and services across our businesses. Principally located in Australia's four key cities of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, we own and manage assets across the office, retail and industrial sectors, with over $17bn of assets currently under management. Our development activities allow us to create and deliver innovative and high-quality commercial assets and residential projects for our customers, while driving long-term value for our securityholders. Our integrated approach gives us a competitive advantage in the creation of quality assets across the entire life-cycle of a project; from planning through to design, construction and development, leasing, property management and long-term ownership. Our purpose, to Reimagine Urban Life, helps to guide us not only in what we do and how we do it, but importantly, why we do it. We're inspired to think about how we can redefine the landscape and create more sustainable, connected and vibrant urban environments, leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come. We bring this purpose to life by harnessing the power of each and every one of us to deliver outstanding products and services to our customers, while ensuring value to our securityholders.

Today we are hosting our investors and brokers on an Investor Day, that showcases Mirvac’s unique capability in the living and industrial sectors. These are two sectors where we see strong long-term growth, where we have competitive advantage, and where we will continue to allocate more of our capital over time.   Investors will be taken to some of our key projects currently underway, including Harbourside, Highforest, and Aspect Industrial Estate.   For more information: https://lnkd.in/gN7xZ3NQ

Enjoy the video below to see the exciting new artwork project that is currently underway at Mirvac’s Quay Waterfront Newstead. Kenji Uranishi is the chosen artist behind the beautiful artwork, with the talented team at @Sculpt Studios bringing it to life. Kenji drew inspiration from the Newstead area and wanted to complement that, so he created the concept of lily pads within a water feature.

Recently some of our construction sites hosted Hard Hat Day BBQs to raise money for the Property Industry Foundation and in turn its Haven Project - to build and renovate homes for homeless youth. Every night, 46,000 young Australians (Census 2021) go without a safe and secure place to sleep, leaving them vulnerable, isolated, and falling behind their peers. The Haven Project is a collaborative effort with the property and construction industry, and each dollar raised is matched through in-kind donations of skills, labour, and goods – making it a cost-effective model. Having been in partnership since 2001, Mirvac has developed a strong relationship with the Property Industry Foundation, and we’ve raised over $50,000 in recent years through successful and enjoyable Hard Hat Days. This year, Hard Hat Day BBQs were hosted at numerous Mirvac sites nationally, including Harbourside, LIV Anura, Nine by Mirvac, Green Square and 7 Spencer.

Last week our Development intern, Lucia Chapple, represented Mirvac in the Property Council NSW’s Future Directions: The Great Debate.   The debate involved two teams, Millennials and Gen Z, going head-to-head to argue which age group is the better generation in the modern-day workforce.   Lucia, member of the Gen Z team, provided a convincing argument that in collaboration with her teammates, led to team Gen Z taking out the win over the Millennial team.     Initiatives such as the Property Council’s Future Directions highlight how exciting careers in property can be. With opportunities like participating in debates and other social and sporting events, through to our unlimited, fully paid volunteer leave, careers at Mirvac offer a huge variety of initiatives to be involved in. For more information on our intern and cadetship program, please visit: https://lnkd.in/gUeEBv8

We are pleased to announce that we have finalised a project delivery agreement with Pioneer Fortune to develop a brand-new masterplanned community in south-east Queensland.   This demonstrates our confidence in the south-east Queensland property market, with the potential to deliver approximately 7,300 residential homes.   Our CEO of Development, Stuart Penklis, said: “We are delighted to be working with Pioneer Fortune to develop the site, where we can leverage our strong brand and track record in this growth corridor, following the success of our nearby Everleigh project.    “This will be our largest masterplanned community to date in Queensland and presents Mirvac with a capital-efficient opportunity to restock our pipeline and apply our 52 years of experience in creating exceptional communities for our customers.”   Monarch Glen is located within Logan City Council and will include state primary and secondary schools, multiple neighbourhood centres, and a proposed rail station, which will be complemented by a retail offering and extensive green open space. The site includes three lots over 1,000 hectares, approximately 38 kilometres from Brisbane’s CBD and close to our successful Everleigh project in Greenbank.

The opening of the Chatswood to Sydenham Metro is giving a lift to real estate along the line with the convenience of a seamless commute from The Hills to the city - a key selling point for purchasers at our newly launched residential community, Highforest by Mirvac.   Located in the northwest Sydney suburb of West Pennant Hills alongside Australia’s only metropolitan forest, Highforest is a collection of nature-inspired houses and apartments just 800 metres from Cherrybrook Metro Station.   The prospect of a seamless Metro journey from Cherrybrook to Barangaroo led West Pennant Hills local, Dan Carr to change his plans to move closer to the city and instead buy his first home at Highforest. Dan’s story is part of a growing trend of young people choosing to stay in Sydney’s northwest following the launch of the Metro extension.   To learn more about how the Metro is changing the game for first home buyers, please visit: https://lnkd.in/g6ZmuTTn

Fantastic morning spent with family and friends at the official opening of Henderson Park at our NINE by Mirvac residential community in Willoughby.   Named after the beloved Channel Nine newsreader, Brian Henderson, Henderson Park is now the centrepiece of the community’s impressive network of open green space and shared amenity.   We transformed an assortment of broadcast studios and cottages into 442 residential boutique apartments, unlocking extraordinary views across the lower north shore and Sydney CBD for the first time in 65 years.   We were thrilled to host the Henderson family last month and we encourage the wider community to pay a visit to Henderson Park.   For more information about NINE by Mirvac, please visit https://nine.mirvac.com/ Paul Scully Tim James Tanya Taylor

Everyone deserves a safe place to call home and at Mirvac, we are committed to helping ensure vulnerable members of our community have modern and secure accommodation.    When we were given the opportunity to assist Bridge It, Housing All Australians and HousingFirst Ltd to refurbish apartments at The Cocoon project, we jumped at the chance. This project demonstrates our desire as a business, to give back to the community by utilising our skillset and help build urgent housing for people in need. We are very grateful to our valued subcontractors for their work on this project which has resulted in over 3,000 hours of pro bono work.   It was a terrific morning celebrating the official opening of The Cocoon - a huge congratulations to Bridge It, HousingFirst Ltd, Housing All Australians and all volunteers who have worked tirelessly to bring this project to life.
