We had an amazing time hosting our latest MLOps meetup, bringing together experts from media and health industries to share insights on machine learning operations. Jeffrey Molendijk from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) delivered an insightful presentation on the role of ML in the media industry and ABC's MLOps practices. We’re particularly excited about their recent publication, "ABC Align: Large Language Model Alignment for Safety & Accuracy". If you’re interested in how ML can be aligned for ethical use in media, this paper is a must-read! Ali Arslan from HealthBird gave a fantastic talk on Amazon Web Services (AWS) MLOps practices, sharing valuable lessons learned from his experience across multiple ML startups and at HealthBird. His practical insights into the challenges and successes in deploying ML at scale got the audience talking and sharing ideas, which was incredible to see!
