It is with deep sadness that Knox City Council learned that Joseph Cullen, Chief Executive Officer of Your Library, passed away on Sunday 12 May 2024.    Under Joseph’s leadership over almost 20 years, Your Library achieved remarkable milestones for library services across Melbourne’s outer east. His legacy includes our remarkable new Knox Library - Ngarrgoo. He recently led the planning and development of services at the new library, achieving his vision for making library services accessible for all and using technology to modernise libraries. Our thoughts are with Joseph’s family and friends at this time, and our colleagues at Your Library. Joseph will be remembered for his kindness, compassion, and approachability which made him not only a respected leader, but also a friend and mentor to many.
