A fantastic feature on King River in Beef Central this week, with praise for King River's recent Queensland Export Awards win, alongside a look at how our company has grown exponentially in the past few years to reach new overseas markets! We're understandably proud of our vertically integrated model. As General Manager Joshua Rich says, "We’re very big on not being a house of brands—we’d rather be a branded house." It's a strategy that's paying dividends as our product becomes known globally for its excellence. #AussieBeef #WagyuBeyondStandards

Australian Meat Exports
About us
King River was established with a vision to be Australia’s most trusted meat exporter. As a family-owned and operated enterprise with over 200 years of combined experience in beef production, this industry is our life. We are passionate about our product and we are always striving to provide a better experience for our clients. This approach is embodied in the way that we do business; from our family to your family. King River represents the Kemp family and the Rich family who have formed a strategic collaboration to specialise in wagyu beef production for the export market. We have built production systems around this business model to achieve optimum results. When our Wagyu beef bears the name King River, you can be assured that we are proud of this product. Through years of acquiring specific Wagyu genetics with traits such as high fertility, good temperament, excellent carcass weight and primal eating quality by a high marbling content – the families have built a business model to ensure the finished product is “fit for a King”.

Dashine Fine Foods is a long-term, trusted partner to King River in Taiwan, importing our world-class Wagyu to sell to luxury restaurants, high-end grocers and tourist destinations. But why do Dashine keep coming back to King River? It's the quality, consistency and product knowledge that sets King River apart from other suppliers. In owner Jeffrey Lin's own words: "One of the best parts of working with King River is that they are flexible, understand our market, and willing to work with us to provide what we need." We interviewed Jeffrey to gain insights into the King River customer experience for our latest blog - have a read here! 👇

🌟🌟🌟 Awards are more than just accolades, they're a reflection of our unwavering commitment to our clients and the tireless effort of our exceptional team. But what's the secret recipe behind an award-winning cut of 🥩 Wagyu? While judges evaluate marbling, digital marbling fineness, eye muscle area, unsaturated fats, visual presentation, flavour, aroma and mouth-feel, we're immersed in a process that's taken years, even decades, of refinement. Because excellence isn't just a product of chance; it's the result of genetics, care, nutrition, and meticulous processing. As we share our recent achievements, we welcome you behind the scenes of this process. Get to know how and why we've won: 🏆 Silver in the Purebred Wagyu category of the Wagyu Branded Beef Competition 2023 🏆 Bronze in the Crossbred Wagyu category of the Wagyu Branded Beef Competition 2023 🏆 Silver in the Purebred Wagyu category at the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show 2023 👉 https://lnkd.in/e3btmiTp #wagyucuts #premiumwagyu #awardwinningbeef #awardwinningwagyu #wagyuexcellence

From Down Under to Taiwan's iconic Taipei 101 tower! 🍽️🌏 Last week Jeffrey, one of our valued clients, treated Josh to a beautiful dinner at Diamond Tony's 101 Panorama restaurant, a top-tier destination in Taiwan. Imagine his delight when he discovered King River gracing the menu, featuring our MB 8-9 cube roll! Standing 510m tall, the Taipei 101 tower is a tourism icon in the city. What an absolute honour to see the King River experience shared in such high places. 🥩🌆 📸 Josh pictured with owner of Diamond Tony's, Moon. #taipei101 #taiwan #kingriverexperience #premiumwagyu #farmtotable

And that's a wrap! 🌟 Last week, King River took centre stage as one of Queensland's proud representatives in the Taste of Queensland pavilion at the China International Import Expo (CIIE). While the event attracted 400,000+ visitors from 100+ countries, our very own Josh had the honour meeting Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk, and serving our premium 🥩 Wagyu alongside none other than the Prime Minister of Australia, Anthony Albanese, too! From catching up with our valued Chinese client Wei, to meeting fellow Queensland delegates and attending the Queensland-Shanghai Sister State Dinner, it was an unforgettable week. Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk, who met with Shanghai Mayor His Excellency GONG Zheng after the dinner, even proudly declared "Queensland is home to exceptional quality beef products, which the 🌏 world is increasingly discovering." What a blast this past week was. And what an absolute pleasure to represent Queensland in this remarkable event. We look forward to the next one! 🤝 Trade and Investment Queensland #CIIEdiary #tasteofqueensland #CIIE #tradeandinvestmentqueensland #kingriverwaygu

A toast to Queensland's finest! In the vibrant heart of Shanghai, Josh stands shoulder to shoulder with fellow Queensland delegates from the China International Import Expo (CIIE), setting the stage for the Queensland-Shanghai Sister State Dinner last Wednesday 8 November. Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk graced the evening and later met with Shanghai Mayor His Excellency GONG Zheng. In her own words "Queensland is home to exceptional quality beef products, which the world is increasingly discovering." 🥩🌏 "I'm proud that Queensland produce, along with other superior food and beverage products, is firmly in the spotlight today in Shanghai."
