Kelsian Group has today released its FY24 Full Year Results to the market for the 12 months ended 30 June 2024.   • Revenue up 42.2% to $2,016.8 million, reflecting a full year of All Aboard America! Holdings, Inc. (‘AAAHI’), and new Sydney contracts. • Underlying EBITDA (adjusted for one-off costs associated with M&A and abnormal items) up 63.9% to $265.4 million and underlying EBITDA margin increased 180 basis points to 13.2%. • Underlying EBIT (adjusted for one-off costs associated with M&A and abnormal items) up 44.5% to $122.1 million. • Underlying Net Profit After Tax and before Amortisation (‘NPATA’) (adjusted for one-off costs associated with M&A and abnormal items), up 32.3% to $92.6 million. • Earnings per Share before Amortisation expense (‘EPSA’) calculated on underlying NPATA increased by 13.3% to 34 cents per share. • Statutory Net Profit After Tax (‘NPAT’) up 176.2% to $58.0 million. • Fully franked final dividend of 9.5 cents per share, taking the full year to 17.5 per share (FY23: 17.0 cents per share). This morning, Tower Transit Singapore's Sembawang-Yishun bus contract won the Excellence Award for Operational & Workplace Safety (Bus Operator) at the #PublicTransportSafetyandSecurityAwards 2024. Sembawang-Yishun performed the best among all 14 bus contracts, registering the lowest number of 'Cat 1' accidents per 100,000km. Operations Senior Manager for Sembawang-Yishun Priscilla Wong shared the '3Rs' of our safety strategy - Risk Profiling, Risk Mitigation and Recovery. We also had the honour of presenting our initiatives to Minister of State, Ministry of Transport, Singapore, Mr Murali Pillai. TTS won 9 other awards including awards for installing start inhibitors across our bus fleet and establishing the sector's first Integrated Security Command Centre which gives us visibility of all our locations and employs video analytics to identify intrusions and other threats. Safety and security are critical to public transport. They demand constant vigilance and while these awards validate our efforts, we cannot rest on our laurels. Unbeknownst to us, there's been another group of people running Tower Transit Singapore's buses...on #Roblox! TTSR (TTS Roblox) is like a parallel universe, mirroring much of TTS' operations including detailed recreations of our bus models, depots and interchanges. A detailed bus model can take up to 5 days to design and code. The 'bus captains' in this alternate reality go through training and accumulate 'driving time' to level-up through 'Progressive Rank Milestones' that look very much like our Progressive Wage Model! TTSR was created in 2016 by a 14-year-old Syazwan who was inspired by TTS' entry into the Singapore market. Over 1,000 visitors attended the official launch of Tengah Bus Interchange on Sunday, 28 July, in what was possibly the first carnival to be held at an operational bus interchange in Singapore! Joining us was Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Transport, Singapore Dr Amy Khor who launched the interchange alongside Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore Chief Executive Ng Lang, National Transport Workers' Union's Exec Secretary Melvin Yong and Tower Transit Singapore's MD Winston Toh, BBM, PBM. Dr Khor also joined about 30 Tengah residents to put the finishing touches on a hand-painted community wall mural which depicts the evolution of Tengah from farming community to a modern, sustainable new town. The public got to enjoy magic shows, caricatures, live snack stations, a bus simulator by ST Engineering, and a host of activities aimed at raising awareness of Total Defence including a Total Defence exhibition by Ministry of Defence of Singapore, a flight simulator by Republic of Singapore Air Force, fire safety demos by Singapore Civil Defence Force, CPR and first-aid demos by Singapore Red Cross, Singapore Red Cross Youth, St John Brigade Singapore and HQ NCC Singapore, a crime prevention booth by Singapore Police Force and a CPR self-learning kiosk by Singapore Heart Foundation (SHF). 🌟 🌟 Introducing…the names of our new SeaLink Marine & Tourism Kangaroo Island ferries!! 🚢🚢 We are very proud that these names honour and celebrate the deep connection of the Ngarrindjeri people to the lands and waters where our ferries will operate. These ferries are set to commence in early 2025 and are much larger than our current fleet. Measuring 60 meters in length, 20 meters in width, and capacity for 80 cars each. With 100% of drivers recruited for our component of the rail replacement contract with Transport for NSW, Minister for Transport Jo Haylen recently visited the Leichhardt depot to meet some of them 🚌   Transit Systems NSW Managing Director Daniela Fontana GAICD said with extensive network planning and transition experience, Transit Systems secured the contract to deliver the majority of rail replacement bus services for South West Link, during the upcoming final Metro conversion of the T3 Bankstown Line.    “We are pleased to see our investment into our recruitment efforts achieve the outcomes required, and set the benchmark for the industry.    “We’re proud to work alongside our government partners to continue investing in the development of people, providing advanced skills training and development, while attracting new people to the industry,” she said.   Ms Fontana extended her thanks to the entire Transit Systems’ team for helping to surpass recruitment targets.    “Demand for public transport will continue to rise, and we will continue to deliver the next generation of drivers - trained up and ready to roll,” she said.   The Transit Systems’ recruitment campaign attracted a strong stream of applicants, with dozens of new drivers completing training each week including new driver Allison Smith.   “The training from Transit Systems has been great, it is so supportive.
