We are excited to share the success of the Northern Territory VET Community of Practice (VET CoP) event, held on Wednesday, 21 August 2024, at the Silks, Darwin. Organised by the Independent Tertiary Education Council Australia (ITECA) and the Industry Skills Advisory Council NT - ISACNT, this event truly showcased the power of collaboration in Vocational Education and Training (VET). Under the theme "Celebrating Skills Week," the gathering brought together key stakeholders from across the Northern Territory to engage in meaningful discussions, share updates, and explore collaborative projects aimed at advancing VET in our region. The event highlighted the Northern Territory Government workforce initiatives and funding, the announcement of the WorldSkills Open Business Competition, and engaging presentations from ITECA, ISACNT, Aurecon, Workforce Australia, and Charles Darwin University—all geared towards reinforcing the strong connections and shared goals within our VET community. Congratulations to everyone involved for making the #VET CoP event a tremendous success! Your dedication and collaboration are driving the future of vocational education and training in our region.
