A big congratulations is in order for our NSW Certificate III in Irrigation Technology (AHC32422) - November 2023 group! Last week these gentlemen completed their final block of practical training, their hard work and determination over the last 12-18 months finally paying off! 🎉 Over the week, students gained valuable skills and knowledge in implementing an irrigation schedule, following basic chemical safety rules, installing and operating pumping systems, and joining polyethylene plastic pipelines using butt and electrofusion welding. A massive thank you to PLASSON Australia for providing the latest electrofusion equipment on the final two days of training, allowing each student to experience the entire welding process first-hand! This wasn't just theory - every attendee completed a full weld, learning techniques to avoid common pitfalls, and gaining valuable insights into why each step is critical. The Regional Manager for NSW, Andrew Cameron, along with Territory Manager Jason Gainey supported our expert trainer Luke Cummins of ROGUE INSTITUTE, ensuring everyone walked away with the practical knowledge they need for consistent, safe and high-quality welds.
