We are thrilled to announce that Investa has achieved net zero scope 1 and 2 emissions for our core managed buildings in our managed funds, including the Investa Commercial Property Fund (ICPF) and Investa Gateway Offices (IGO) ahead of our target. It's a proud moment in our ESG journey, and one that wouldn’t be possible without the work of our team, investors, occupiers and supply chain. Thank you, and congratulations to all who helped achieve this milestone and are transforming tomorrow, today. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gBBFzFFv

Our first Build to Rent (BTR) building – Indi Sydney – is set to launch in November, marking a transformative milestone in urban rental living. Developed by Investa on behalf of Oxford Properties Group, the premium 234-apartment building is Sydney CBD’s first purpose-built BTR tower. Indi will soon be home to 500 residents, who will enjoy a connected and convenient lifestyle with access to premium facilities like co-working and rooftop entertaining spaces, and wellness facilities. Courtney Raven said: “Indi is a lifestyle-led build to rent residential option that offers residents more than just four walls – it’s a new way of living. Here at Indi Sydney, you can create a home that reflects your individual style and tastes. You can personalise your apartment, hang up your favourite artwork, and keep a pet.” Read more: https://lnkd.in/gRe6Ya76

Our tenants at 201 Kent St had a fantastic time celebrating Diwali last week. To mark the start of the Festival of Lights, tenants were treated to a visit from a professional henna artist who delighted them with beautiful freehand Mehendi designs. The festivities continued with an energetic Bollywood dance class hosted in The Cove, our new wellness and recreation space, where tenants enjoyed learning some fun and vibrant dance moves. Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating Diwali, and wishing those who celebrate a prosperous and joyous year ahead.

Investa Day is an opportunity to connect with our valued investors and partners. Yesterday, we were joined by key stakeholders online and in person at the annual event to discuss key investment themes, market trends, and an open Q&A session. Highlights included Sameer Chopra’s insights on the Australian economy and Tristan Gannan’s panel on office trends with Mark Podgornik, following the recent increased activity in the Australian office capital market. The day concluded with an insightful fireside chat featuring Lizzie Wheeler and Sally Franklin, where they discussed our new partnership with Essence Communities. Essence Communities will be the property managers for all Indi build to rent assets, including Indi Sydney, which will soon welcome its first residents in the CBD’s first purpose-built build to rent building. Attendees also had the opportunity to jump on the new metro and tour our newest assets – 39 Martin Place and Indi Sydney – both located above the new CBD metro stations. We look forward to welcoming capital partners and advisors to our event in 2025 and beyond.

As Indigenous Business Month comes to a close, we've taken a moment to reflect on our progress and commitment to supporting local Indigenous businesses and First Nations entrepreneurs as they make their mark in our community. Our commitment to empowering First Nations businesses goes beyond numbers – it’s embedded in our business. Since partnering with the NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce in 2022, we've made significant strides in diversifying our supply chain and identifying responsible procurement opportunities. In October 2023, we were proud to have achieved our goal of sourcing 100% of the Investa operations’ platform supplies from First Nations enterprise, Mandura. Through initiatives like the container deposit scheme and auctions of floral arrangements in our buildings, we have linked our business activities with supporting First Nations charities. Additionally, we've formed relationships with First Nations social enterprises like IndigiGrow, educating our team and customers about native Australian edible plants, and have developed a First Nations recruitment strategy and are working with our construction partners to explore employment opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Investa is proud to join the ranks of 502 organisations across the globe as a Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) Adopter, announced at #COP16. As one of the first Australian companies to make this commitment to voluntary reporting of nature-related issues in line with the TNFD recommendations, our decision to become a TNFD Adopter aligns with our sustainability strategy for a nature positive pathway – one that not only benefits the environment, but also creates long-term value for our stakeholders. To celebrate National Carers Week, we hosted a morning tea to raise awareness for those with caring responsibilities. Our CEO, Peter Menegazzo emphasised the importance of recognising the invaluable role Carers play and reminding our people of the policies and practices we have in place to support them. This was followed by an insightful panel discussion where Danny, Elizabeth, John & Molly shared their personal stories, giving us a deeper understanding of how they balance both caring and work responsibilities.

Last week we celebrated Ride2Work day, where our tenants nationwide enjoyed a range of pedal-powered activities including complimentary bike tune-ups. At 567 Collins St, Ivanhoe Cycles showcased their latest models, inspiring our tenants to explore new cycling options. At Barrack Place, tenants got their heart rates up and their smoothies blended with a fun Bike 'n' Blend activation. And at 201 Kent St, our tenants enjoyed an invigorating Peloton class in The Cove, our new wellness offering. Thanks to those who participated and made it a day to remember!

We're thrilled to have provided a fresh canvas for local Melbourne artists, Mayonaize and Kitt Bennett, who transformed a rooftop into a stunning piece of art. The piece began with a central mandala that captures the city's resilience and its renewed connection to its people. Peter Menegazzo, visited the rooftop mural to express our appreciation for the artists' work and support of the rejuvenation of Melbourne’s CBD post-COVID.

Did you know that 26,000 Australians experience cardiac arrest each year? Most of these emergencies happen outside the hospital, and unfortunately, survival rates are too low. But there's hope – bystanders can play a vital role in helping those in need. On World Restart a Heart Day, we joined forces with our valued tenant Munich Re and Heart of the Nation Australia for the #WorldResusRally at Sixty Martin Place. The legendary Greg Page, Founder of Heart of the Nation and former Yellow Wiggle, led a CPR demonstration, inspiring our tenants to join the rally and perform non-stop CPR for an hour. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn these vital life-saving skills.
