Today we congratulated our in-house Publisher Robert Beardwood on 20 years with Insight. Robert has championed the company into huge success, always maintaining a kind, calm and cool mind through two decades of ups and downs. You are an invaluable member of our team and we are continuously grateful for the hard work you put into our books. Congratulations Robert, here is to 20 more!

It's been a hectic few months here at Insight, so some of our wonderful team enjoyed a well-deserved lunch! Huge shoutout to our unstoppable publishing and design team who have been working tirelessly to ensure books are written, deadlines are met, and Australian high school students are as well-prepared for their exams and other end-of-year assessments as possible! We'd also like to welcome Kate McGregor to our team! Kate is an experienced editor and publisher and will be an incredible asset to the Insight squad. Welcome Kate!

We were beyond thrilled to attend the BookUp conference last week. There is nothing more inspiring than being in a room with so many brilliant minds to bolster our love for all things publishing. We would like to thank the Australian Publishers Association, Copyright Licensing Agency and Books+Publishing for putting together such a fantastic day.  

Last week we bid a fond farewell to the inimitable Cheryl Noble, who has worked for Insight Publications for the last 24 years. We thank Cheryl for her incredible loyalty, humour and tenacity. We hope she enjoys her well-earned retirement; Insight won’t be the same without you!

Insight Publications is excited to announce the release of our English for NSW Year 8 and English for NSW Year 10 titles! These books complete the series, which will serve as an expert resource for Years 7–10 English students in NSW. We’d like to thank our hard-working and experienced authors, Emily Beach (Years 7 & 8), and Emma Wynne-Jones and Bronwyn Ralphs (Years 9 & 10), for their incredible efforts producing these titles.

Today, our team was lucky enough to have James Cathro and the Campion Education board join us for a morning tea in honour of James' retirement. We have had the privilege of working with James for almost two years and have followed his incredible career in making the Campion Group what it is today. Congratulations James on an outstanding and impressive career, we wish you all the best and hope to see you around for more cake, quizzes and laughs!
