These 12.1m x 10m structures, made from robust Magnelis® steel, will significantly enhance connectivity for local villages to Auki and its crucial wharf, situated 13km south on Auki-Fouia Road. The Ballinger’s team recently took some time out to inspect the recently completed InQuik Innovation Centre at Heatherbrae. Bruce Mullaney very generously explained InQuik’s history, the patented bridge construction technology involved, showed us around the factory and (patiently) answered our questions. The systems they have developed are so clever, and yet, so simple. This ingenuity has finally been recognised by an industry leader, CMC Steel, with the signing of a licencing agreement a few weeks ago.
