At Hungry Jack’s, our value of #StrongerTogether lies at the very foundation of who we are. From the dedicated crew on the front lines of our restaurants, to our executive and support center teams, collaboration is the critical ingredient that fuels our success. It’s this spirit of collaboration and teamwork that empowers us to consistently deliver on our promise to our employees and our guests, day in and day out. This week, we had the honour of hosting our colleagues from Burger King, and the Restaurant Brands International (RBI) team. Their visit was more than just a tour; it was an opportunity for us to showcase the unique Hungry Jack’s culture and share the stories that drive our vision forward. Who better to lead this tour than a group of our high-performing Growth Mindset Partners. An example of our commitment to learning and development, these restaurant leaders continuously push the boundaries of what’s possible within our teams. Throughout their visit, our guests had the chance to engage directly with our crew, hear their experiences, and witness firsthand how our focus on people and high-performance team building is brought to life. Jenny McKie, our Chief People Officer, perfectly defined the essence of who we are when she said, “We are in the people business; we just happen to sell burgers.” This statement resonates deeply with all of us, as it highlights our commitment to our people, the very heart of our Hungry Jack’s. As we reflect on this visit, we’re reminded that our strength lies in our collective effort. By working together, we continue to build a culture that not only values but is also strengthened by collaboration, driving us toward a future where every member of the Hungry Jack’s community feels empowered to contribute to our shared success. Chris Green, Greg Sleep, Claudio Salinas, Christine Bletsas, Scott Baird, Melissa Anderson, Michael Oliverio Together, we are #Stronger. #Together, we are Hungry Jack’s. #collaberation #teamwork #peoplepower #Strongertogether #growthmindset

At Hungry Jack’s, we know that a little friendly competition can bring out the best in us. That’s exactly what happened during yesterday’s National Restaurant Support Centre UNO Tournament. Teams from across our national office gathered, each with a champion ready to test their strategy and luck in the classic game of UNO. In line with our super successful in-restaurant UNO promotion, this tournament brought the same level of excitement and engagement into our National RSC office. Departments held their own mini tournaments, selecting representatives to compete in the finals. The excitement was obvious as colleagues shared strategies, brushed up on the rules, and geared up for the big day. On the day of the tournament, the office was filled with energy as teams encouraged and cheered on their representative players. The atmosphere was electric, with every “Draw 4” played and each shout of “UNO!” bringing everyone closer together. The Grand Final was a thrilling showdown, showcasing not just individual skill but also the #strongertogether mindset that defines Hungry Jack’s. Ultimately, while only one could take the crown—congratulations, Anzalee Rai—the real victory was in the camaraderie and fun everyone shared. The RSC UNO Tournament was more than just a game; it was a celebration of the teamwork and unique culture that make Hungry Jack’s a great place to work. Congratulations to our second and third place winners Simonie Knight and Katelin Chambers. Thank you to our amazing partners TLC Worldwide APAC, Results Marketing Group and Detpak for helping to bring our incredible promotion to life. Hungry Jack's would like to celebrate the incredible achievement of our much-loved, Marek Nagy, marking 20 years of outstanding service and dedication. In September 1999, Marek arrived in Sydney from Slovakia, a freshly graduated engineer with a passion for the food business. Marek’s desire was always to work with great people and learn how to make people love food through quality and service excellence. By 2002, Marek married his lovely wife and soon started a family, who have been his pillars of strength and motivation. His career started with Bread of France as Operations Manager from 2001 to 2004, overseeing 18 restaurants. This role laid a strong foundation for his future success. In May 2004, Marek joined Hungry Jack's as an Assistant Manager at Wynyard CBD restaurant. His dedication led to a swift promotion to Restaurant Manager at the flagship Century restaurant on George Street. Here, his commitment to developing great people through #peoplepower was proven. Marek quickly progressed to District Manager and, within 6.5 years, became State Manager for NSW from 2015 to 2018. His strategic vision and operational expertise earned him the role of National Operations Excellence Manager from 2018 to 2020, where he led an inspiring team to implement efficient kitchen equipment. In 2020, Marek took on the challenge of National Operations Excellence Project Manager. His team developed a new drive-thru system, enhancing quality and speed across all drive-thru restaurants, significantly boosting guest satisfaction. In his own words, Marek’s legacy is “to always make our employees' jobs in restaurants easier and more efficient, ensuring our best innovations align with our company's needs and requirements”. His journey highlights the power of passion, dedication, and the strong support of his family and team. Hungry Jack's is incredibly proud and grateful to have Marek as a valued member of our team. We celebrate Marek's remarkable career and contribution to the success of Hungry Jack’s, inspired by his commitment to #peoplepower and a #growthmindset Thank you Marek Nagy for your dedication and the positive impact you've made over the past 20 years. At Hungry Jack’s, we believe in the power of community and the difference we can make when we come together for a cause. This spirit of giving shines brightest during Wishmaker Month, a time when our entire Hungry Jack’s community rallies to support Make-A-Wish Australia. This year, we are inspired by the extraordinary generosity of one young guest, Kenzie who represents the heart and soul of our campaign. Every year since she was just four years old, the remarkable little Kenzie has demonstrated a heart full of compassion and generosity. Small in stature but humongous in heart, Kenzie saves her money and persuades her older sister to take her to Hungry Jack’s, all for a heartfelt cause: to buy the largest Make-A-Wish Australia donation star she can, with the hope of helping sick children fulfill their wishes. This year aged seven, Kenzie continued her tradition with excitement and enthusiasm and on Sunday, convinced her entire family to venture to Hungry Jack’s Cabramatta to purchase a $100 Star. Kenzie's dedication and generosity make her a true superstar in our eyes. When asked why she does it, Kenzie said, "I just want all the kids to get better and be ok. I hope their wishes come true, and I pray for them. They are all beautiful just the way they are, sending lots of love." This touching story is the perfect example of the spirit of Wishmaker Month at Hungry Jack’s, a time of the year that holds a special place in the hearts of Team Hungry Jack’s Cabramatta. This year, our collective goal at Hungry Jack’s is to raise $2.5 Million for Make-A-Wish Australia, and we know we can't achieve this without the incredible support of our Hungry Jack’s community and valued guests like Kenzie. Team Cabramatta has set a target to contribute $30,000 towards this noble cause. We invite everyone to join us in our mission to help Make-a-Wish grant life-changing wishes to over 900 critically ill children who are waiting. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a significant impact. Plus, all donations over $2 are tax-deductible, with receipts sent digitally after donating online. Let's all be a little more like Kenzie—full of heart, generosity, and a desire to make a difference. Together, let’s bring joy to the lives of these children. To support Hungry Jack’s and team Cabramatta’s efforts, please visit our online donation portal for Team Cabramatta: https://lnkd.in/gBRzt-Rp Kenzie, thank you for being part of this incredible journey and for helping us make wishes come true. #wishmaker #makeadifference #ItAllStartsWithAStar #makeawish Jenny McKie Chris Green Maytal Saltoon Scott Baird Michael Oliverio Melissa Anderson

At Hungry Jack's, we are deeply committed to making a difference in the lives of those who need it most. This week is the beginning of Hungry Jack's 2024 ‘Wishmaker Month’, marking the seventh year of our partnership with Make-A-Wish Australia. Our collective goal this year is ambitious but incredibly meaningful: to raise a record breaking $2.5 million to help grant life changing wishes to more than 900 critically ill children across Australia. This campaign is more than just a fundraiser; it's about bringing hope, joy, and unforgettable experiences to children facing immense challenges. We invite everyone to join us in this mission by becoming a Hungry Jack’s Wishmaker. By purchasing a star in-store, online, or through the Hungry Jack's App, you play a pivotal role in making dreams come true. From June 4 to July 1, we are encouraging everyone to make a difference by purchasing a $2, $5, $10, $50 or $100 star in-store, in drive-thru, or via the Hungry Jack's app. Meet the Hungry Jack's 2024 Wishmaker Kids: 💙 Lara, 7, diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, wished for "a water-filled holiday." Thanks to your support, Lara and her family traveled to the Gold Coast, where her dream of a joyful, water-filled adventure came true. 💙 Cooper, 10, living with a rare genetic disorder, Aicardi Goutieres syndrome, wished to "go to the snow for the first time to throw snowballs." With your help, Cooper experienced the magic of snow, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime. These stories remind us of the incredible impact we can have when we come together for a common cause. It all starts with a star! Let's unite in making a significant impact and supporting these brave children. Together, we can make their wishes come true. #MakeAWish #HungryJacksWishmaker #ItAllStartsWithAStar #MakeADifference Chris Green Maytal Saltoon Jenny McKie Scott Baird Michael Oliverio
