Take a look at this footage from scientific trials back in 2018, when Hover UAV in collaboration with the NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development took to the skies as part of NSW’s $16 million Shark Management Strategy, and the results were incredible! From sharks, whales, and dolphins to seals, rays, and penguins, the NSW Department of Primary Industries captured stunning footage and valuable first-of-kind data on marine life behaviour. With over 12,000 km flown, 3,000+ flights, and 2,000 hours of monitoring, these trials not only improved the understanding of shark behaviour but also helped refine drone surveillance methods to this day. #sharksurveillance #marineconservation #beachsafety #marinefauna
