Achieving a 100% cure rate for childhood cancer will be a remarkable moment, and My Room Children’s Cancer Charity are working hard to achieve it. Our 2nd Home For A Cure has been built on land donated by Satterley Property Group by 100’s of trades and suppliers who donated their time and resources and today, we say THANK YOU! The home is ready for inspection and will be auctioned on 14 September with 100% of proceeds helping Margaret Zita OAM and her team of volunteers to continue funding support for families, medical equipment, clinical care, research and trials. Not a casserole disease. Powerful words this week from Belinda Caldwell CEO at Eating Disorders Victoria. We heard how eating disorders affect over 1.1 million Australians but are often not as openly discussed as other illnesses. Unlike physical illnesses or injuries, where people might bring casseroles or other food to show support, eating disorders are mental health conditions that are frequently hidden and misunderstood, leading to less community support.
