Gymnastics Australia has today opened its process for Request for Proposals for the provision of our Uniform, Leotard and Merchandise suppliers. We are looking for partners who can deliver outstanding service, high-quality products, and competitive pricing to make purchasing products affordable for all team members. This is particularly important as many Australian teams are self-funded. Potential suppliers are invited to present a response to any or all of the agreements.   The proposed term for this partnership will be 4 years dependent on the offer, commencing 1 January 2025. Click on the link below to download a copy of the RFP. https://lnkd.in/e4uyqDV5

Jesse Moore has secured a place in the All-Around Final for Men’s Artistic Gymnastics courtesy of a remarkable Olympic debut in qualification. The 21-year-old South Australian had to wait for the third and final subdivision to compete to determine his fate, as his All-Around score of 82.698 placed him in 13th place after the first two subdivisions are completed with the top 24 gymnasts to make the All-Around Final. After a few nervous hours though, his dream was secured, finishing in 15th place overall in the qualification round, the first Aussie man to qualify for the final since Josh Jeffries in London twelve years ago. Jesse produced his best routine on Vault (14.233) and his effort on Parallel Bars (14.200) was not far behind as he displayed nerves of his steel in the second half of the session. A stunning Floor routine (13.966) was an excellent way to start his maiden appearance on the biggest stage of all, but his strength of character was on show after he a slight clip of his foot on Pommel prevented his score on his preferred apparatus (13.700) from being at the level he is accustomed to. The slight hiccup did not faze him however as he produced a solid routine on Rings (13.033) before remaining composed on Vault, Parallel Bars and Horizontal Bar (13.566) to finish strongly. Jesse will now compete again in the Men's All Around Final, being held in the early hours of Thursday morning AEST. https://lnkd.in/gKhieg5t

Seventeen-year-old Ruby Pass has earned her place in a maiden Olympic All-Around Final as Australia’s Women’s Artistic team finished in tenth place at Paris’ Bercy Arena. Ruby produced a scintillating debut on the biggest stage of all to score 53.866 in All-Around and qualify for the final in 14th place. The national All-Around, Floor, Vault and Uneven Bars champion announced herself earlier this year with a dominant showing at the Australian Gymnastics Championships, but this was a much bigger statement. Ruby showed composure beyond her years to ensure she hit the scores she needed to be amongst the world’s finest and her best performance came on Uneven Bars with a score of 13.900. She becomes the first Australian to make the Women's Artistic All-Around Final since Emily Little and Ashleigh Brennan in London in 2012. Ruby will now have a few days to recover before the All-Around Final at 2.15am AEST on Friday 2 August. Breanna Scott came closest of the Australians to making an apparatus final with a score of 13.700 on Beam placing her in 12th with the top eight making the final. The Australian team’s total score of 158.964 was only 0.533 shy of making the top eight and qualifying for the final. https://lnkd.in/g7326FnM
