Guide Dogs WA is the only Western Australian based provider of Guide Dog training services in the community. Guide Dogs WA provides life-changing Guide and Assistance Dogs. It takes over two years and costs more than $50,000 to train a Guide or Assistance Dog. Guide Dogs WA relies on the support of the community to provide these life changing services to Western Australians living with low vision, disability or illness. 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗖𝗗 based in Western Australia, brings to the board a wealth of experience across 20 years in senior management and executive roles in financial services and capital markets. Jane has held many Non-Executive Director positions including Carers WA, which provided her valuable insight to the Not-for-Profit sector. Jane is passionate about people, communication, outcomes, and a champion for diversity. EverAbility operates Guide Dogs WA and Guide Dogs Tasmania, VisAbility and Kites Therapy in both Western Australia and Tasmania. It is crucial to have Board Directors in both states.     At our most recent Graduation event, Guide Dogs WA staff, volunteers, and supporters joined together to celebrate the remarkable achievements of 13 graduating dogs. 🐾🐾 As these extraordinary canines embark upon the next step of their journey, as Guide, Assistance, Facility or Therapy Dogs, or within or Breeding Program, one thing is for sure. Each and every one of them will help change lives. Thank you to our volunteers and supporters who make all that we are able to achieve possible. We are delighted to share a few heart-warming moments that were captured on the day.
