Earlier this week, we welcomed the Hort Innovation Board and Executive Team for a site visit at Greensill Farming while they were touring the Bundaberg region. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our sweet potato production and packing shed, alongside our innovative Green Solutions Wide Bay green waste recycling facility. Last week we celebrated Men's Health Week at Greensill Farming! We are proud to shine a light on the health and wellbeing of the men in our community. At our Wallaville and Qunaba sites, we organised special events for our male workforce to get together and foster camaraderie and meaningful conversations amongst the teams. We would like to thank Curtis Duff from Coral Coast Physiotherapy & Allied Health Clinic for attending the Qunaba breakfast as the guest speaker and emphasising the importance of physical activity for both body and mind . 📣 it’s officially cane crush season at Greensill Farming 🌾 Last week, we welcomed the team from Isis Central Sugar Mill Co to our Wallaville farm for their 2024 Crushing Season meeting. Stakeholders from across the sugar industry gathered for an informative session led by Paul Nicol, Chief Field Officer for Isis Mill. Everyone in our farm team are looking forward to seeing it in action 🙌 ‘I have loved watching the Greaves and Young families using two row harvesters for over 40 years. We recently welcomed the team from Foodbank Australia to our sweet potato packing facility for a site visit and tour 🇦🇺🍠 As part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to our broader community, we regularly donate fresh sweet potatoes to Foodbank, and already this year have sent 80 tonnes to their depot to bolster their resources 🫶 Through this ongoing partnership, we're proud to play a role in addressing food insecurity and nourishing those in need across the nation. #FoodbankQueensland #Foodbank #GreensillFarming #SweetPotatoes #Community
