We are thrilled to announce the winner of the first Good Shepherd Shark Tank Innovation Fund, run by the Audacity Centre. The winning idea is ‘AnswerSmart’ submitted by Dr. Swapnilsony Singh, Manager Client Value and Optimisation in the Service Navigation and Support team. AnswerSmart is an AI-powered chatbot designed to deliver real-time information on processes, workflows, client information and policies to support Good Shepherd staff to serve clients more efficiently. The Service Navigation and Support team will be awarded a monetary grant to enable Dr. Swapnilsony to work with The Audacity Centre, the Digital and Technology team and key partners across Good Shepherd to bring this idea to life through a pilot project. Our inaugural Shark Tank event drew in 41 quality innovation submissions of which five made it to the finalist pitching stage to present before the judges. To learn more about Shark Tank, The Audacity Centre and innovation at Good Shepherd, please reach out to Mike Davis, General Manager, Audacity Centre on LinkedIn or email [email protected] #innovation #socialinnovation #socialimpact #notforprofit #ai #chatbot #sharktank

We are not just girls, we are a generation Today at Good Shepherd gathered in support of the Good Shepherd Asia Pacific celebration of International Day of the Girl - 11 Days of Activism. We listened to the wisdom of the next generation of women speak about their hopes and aspirations for the world - one in which they reassured us they would ably live and work to keep women, girls, families and communities...our world...safe, strong, well and connected. We heard from the girls of our our local families and from girls connected through Good Shepherd education around the world. In the words of one girl, Joyce, "We are not just girls, we are a generation!" #InternationalDayOfTheGirl #11DaysOfAction #GirlsInGoodShepherd

Can we all see colours? Does it matter? WearItPurple day – creating safe spaces for everyone – no matter what colour you see. Educate, be compassionate…we all play a role in fostering a supportive, safe and empowering environment for eachother. Creating safe and welcoming spaces can start with acknowledging the risks, using inclusive language, and understanding how to hold compassionate and supportive conversations, and this is what we talked about at Good Shepherd today. Everyone should grow up feeling accepted and supported. Today is hashtag#WearItPurpleDay, which reminds us of the importance of fostering supportive, safe and empowering environments. 💜 Learn more about Wear It Purple: https://lnkd.in/fgh9PaX
