Part II provides evidence-based guidance on managing RPL, covering thrombophilia, autoimmune factors, infective and inflammatory causes, endometrial factors, environmental and lifestyle influences, male factors, and unexplained causes. Google's initiative to offer fertility treatment reimbursements in Australia and New Zealand is a great step towards supporting diverse paths to parenthood. Google Offers Fertility Treatment Reimbursements to Employees in Australia and New Zealand Google has recently announced a pioneering initiative in Australia and New Zealand, joining a growing trend among companies to provide financial support for fertility treatments. With this move, Google aims to foster an inclusive workplace that supports various paths to parenthood. The new benefit, extended to all of Google's 2000-plus employees in the region, offers up to $33,200 in lifetime support for fertility treatments, including egg freezing, in vitro fertilisation (IVF), intrauterine insemination (IUI), as well as other family-building expenses such as adoption and surrogacy costs. The cost of fertility treatments can be substantial, with a single IVF cycle in Australia costing up to $15,000, and egg freezing around $5,000 for the first cycle. Andy Brown HR Director of Genea Fertility commented, "In recent years domestically we have noticed the introduction of paid Fertility leave by a number of employers, typically up to 5 days a year & driven internally in large organisations by Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s), often as part of accreditation as a Family Inclusive Workplace. Employers are also increasingly linking up with Fertility Providers to introduce corporate programmes that offer benefits for their employees such as education events and webinars. The aim of these types of policies and support initiatives are to foster a culture that reduces stigma around the fertility journey and opens the conversation in the workplace to help staff seek the support they need." Genea has led the way in providing these employee benefits by establishing corporate partnerships. They are seeing significant growth in this area within employers across Australia.
