In our August edition of Franklin Fast Five, we’re featuring Nicola Reeves, Lead People & Culture Business Partner. Nicola shares her journey from operations to a people-first role in People & Culture 🧡 In 150 characters, what is your role at Franklin.ai? 💭 Focusing on employee experience, engagement, and wellbeing. Which Franklin.ai value resonates the most with you? 🤝 "We do the best work of our lives, together." This value resonates with me because it highlights the power of teamwork and collective effort. Working together towards common goals brings out the best in all of us and creates a supportive and dynamic environment where everyone can thrive. Why did you join Franklin.ai? 🔬 I joined the Harrison Group in March 2020 for what was supposed to be a short 6-week temp role. From day one, I felt the unique energy of the team. I stayed because the company genuinely supports my wellbeing, career growth, invests in my development, and offers the chance to work with incredibly talented and passionate people. The mission we’re on is truly inspiring. Who/what inspired you to pursue the career you have today? 💫 My journey into the people space wasn’t conventional. I started in operations but always felt a pull towards improving employee experiences and wellbeing. I’m inspired by the impact that a positive work environment can have on people’s lives. Helping create spaces where people feel valued, supported, and excited to come to work is what drives me. What advice would you give someone just starting their career? ✍️ Don’t feel pressured to follow a traditional path. Your career is a personal journey, and it's okay to take a route that feels right for you. Work hard, stay curious, and find what you’re passionate about. Your unique experiences and perspectives will be your greatest assets. Thanks for the wise words, and for everything you do for us, Nic! 🙏 #culture #franklinai
