More than 50,000 customers have helped Bonza bloom in our first year at Toowoomba! 💐 It’s officially been one year since we got wheels up on flights to and from Toowoomba, and we’re stoked to say we’ve flown more than 50,000 customers to and from the region! 👏👏 We made our debut at Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport in April last year, and currently fly to Townsville and Melbourne (Tullamarine) with fares starting from $79 per person (one way). Around 300,000 customers – enough people to fill the Melbourne Cricket Ground three times! 🏟️ – have flown to/from the Victorian capital city on Bonza since we began servicing Melbourne (Tullamarine) Airport 👏 We’re marking one year since we got wheels up on our Melbourne base which has seen customers travel to a growing number of destinations. It’s an Aussie first… Today we got wheels up on our first flight connecting the Sunshine Coast to Launceston! 🙌 This new route will operate twice weekly (Monday and Friday) and will be the first flight to offer Sunny Coast and Tassie locals an opportunity to check out two iconic Aussie foodie destinations 🍽️ To celebrate, we teamed up with our mates at Kenilworth Bakery to create another first... The limited edition Bonza ‘hotXnut’ - a hot cross bun cross doughnut! 🤩🍩 This tasty creation celebrates the rich, innovative paddock-to-plate experiences both regions offer. You beauty! 👏 We understand that an app is not for everyone, so we’re stoked to offer another way for even more Aussies to take advantage of our low-cost airfares and experience all that Bonza has to offer 💜 The app is still the only place for customers to check in, retrieve their boarding passes and buy food and drink while onboard.

Bonza's low-cost fares delivers direct P!NK LINK to regional fans! We’ve seen an uptick in customers taking advantage of low-cost direct flights to Townsville to catch the final leg of American singer-songwriter P!nk’s tour with back-to-back concerts on March 22 and 23, 2024 at Queensland Country Bank Stadium. The biggest Australian tour ever undertaken by a female artist will conclude in Townsville this weekend and hundreds of regional fans from Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast, Rockhampton and the Gold Coast will fly direct to Townsville to catch the record-breaking tour.
