There are three major differences for these elections compared to the local government elections earlier in the year: • Vote anywhere: You can cast your vote at any polling place within Queensland, no matter where you live! • Extended early voting: Opening hours have been extended to 8am – 6pm for the entire 2-week early voting period on weekdays from Monday 14 to Friday 25 October! • Full preferential voting: Make sure you number every box on your ballot paper, in your order of preference, to make your vote count! Today, ballot paper order draws were held across the State for elections in each of Queensland’s 93 electorates. Candidate details are now published on the ECQ website in ballot paper order.
