Our service team has successfully restored a vMAX Vertical Slurry Pump for an iron ore mining site. During the pump strip and assessment, several critical issues were identified, including a snapped shaft, a seized impeller, and a volute, all to be replaced. Additionally, surface rust was found on the strainer and column, and several damaged components required replacement. Furthermore, we needed to replace all nuts, bolts, bearings, and seals. The labor included repairs, painting (which involved blasting and priming after the repairs), transportation, and preservation. The refurbished pump is now ready to be dispatched back to the site. A leading chemical processing company experienced delays due to leaks and unscheduled maintenance in their pumps, which are used for transferring abrasive liquid slurry during the production of hexamethylenediamine (HDMA), a key ingredient in nylon 66. This month, our service team completed an impressive restoration of a Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump system, which is now ready for delivery back to the iron ore mine site. Our service team has fully restored a Submersible SE1 Sewage Sump Pump for an iron ore mining company. The issue was that the pump would not turn. The volute and impeller were heavily contaminated with material, likely causing the pump to seize. The service included stripping and assessing the pump, labour for repairs, an O-ring kit, a shaft seal kit, a wear & seal ring kit, oil, paint, and preservation. The Grundfos SE1 Submersible Pump has now been refurbished and is ready for dispatch back to the site.
