👏 Huge congratulations to Heart Research Australia on another successful premium direct mail acquisition campaign! ❤️ 📈 Key results: ✨ 1,990 new donors 💰 $93,725 income raised 💌 $47 average gift 📈 8% average response rate What’s the secret of their success? Miriam Morgan and the team at Heart Research Australia are committed to building their mass program through sustainable acquisition to ensure they can continue their work to reduce the devastating impact heart disease has on families and the community. Having developed a strong-performing banker pack, they have mapped out an annual mailing strategy with a high-value premium – which is currently a tote bag. Their data mix includes a mix of cold, swaps, and co-op data (assisted by our good friends at Tedirex). As with all DR acquisition mailings, each mailing includes a test to ensure learning opportunities are not wasted. Their most recent mailing test was at the addition of a low-cost freemium to see if the response rate could be lifted. Want to know how the test went? Join us for our next free Donor Republic webinar: ‘Demystifying Direct Mail Acquisition – The Ultimate Q&A on Direct Mail Acquisition Success’. 🗓 Tuesday, 12 November ⏰ 12 pm AEDT Register now: https://lnkd.in/gg3ynEXw #HeartResearchAustralia #DirectMail #FundraisingSuccess #DonorRepublic #Webinar

🔎🎄 🔎 🎄 Thinking about including Search in your Christmas campaigns? You should be! Ashleigh Yardy, our Digital Fundraising Director, highlights why Search is a must: it drives high-value traffic to your donation pages at a crucial time of year. With CPAs up to 3x lower than other channels, it's a cost-effective way to reach your audience when it matters most. Here are Ashleigh’s top 5 tips for a successful SEM campaign this Christmas: 1️⃣ Keyword strategy: Identify keywords that reflect high intent users, eg 'Christmas charity donations' and brand-specific terms. (e.g., "Christmas charity donations" or "donate to help children at Christmas"). 2️⃣ Ad relevance: Ensure your ads are highly relevant to the search terms and resonate with your audience. Align your ad copy with the keywords to increase Quality Score and reduce costs. 3️⃣ Optimise your appeal pages: Direct users to landing pages that match the intent of their search. Copy should be compelling and should clearly highlight Christmas and why the audience should give right now. Ensure fast load times and mobile responsiveness to avoid losing potential donors. 4️⃣ Use Ad Extensions to improve your ads: Use ad extensions like sitelinks, callouts, and structured snippets to provide more information, increase visibility, and increase traffic. 5️⃣ Track and Optimise: Monitor and optimise performance through the campaign (CTR, conversion rates, CPA) to identify high-performing keywords and ads, as well as excluding irrelevant traffic by using negative terms.
