    We are pleased to announce important changes to the Dietitian and Nutritionist Regulatory Council (DNRC) as well as the recruitment of new members.  💡 The Board of Dietitians Australia recently resolved to implement a new structure for the DNRC that includes: · Consolidation of the functions of the Australian Dietetics Council into the DNRC. · A more robust governance framework focused on stronger accountability and clear roles. · Enhanced risk management and compliance. 🤝 Become a member of the DNRC  The #DNRC is seeking to appoint 4 senior academic or senior practitioner members to join the council.     It’s time for a nutrition boost in the ACT’s early childhood centres. We’re partnering with Nutrition Australia, urging the incoming ACT Government to strengthen the implementation of the National Quality Standards in the provision of food in early childhood education and care services. Over half of all children in the ACT attend early childhood education and care centres, where many will consume more than half of their meals within a working week. A nutrition boost would provide staff, educators, cooks and chefs with evidence-based guidance backed by #APDs. Investing in nutrition for early childhood education and care now in the ACT means investing in the long-term health and well-being of the next generation of Territorians.
