We are ready! 💪 Indonesia is one of Australia's most important partners, and we are looking forward to working with our Indonesian friends on Exercise Keris Woomera, our largest bilateral exercise ever. 🇦🇺🇮🇩 Exercise Keris Woomera is a combined joint activity conducted by the ADF and Indonesian National Armed Forces, including about 2,000 personnel drawn from the Navy, Army, and Air Forces of each nation. By training together, both forces build upon shared tactics to enhance interoperability and readiness to respond to shared security challenges in the region. #YourADF #StrongerTogether #IPE24

This month, Defence joined like-minded partners in Hawaii for the inaugural plenary session of the Partnership for Indo-Pacific Industrial Resilience (PIPIR). 🤝 Aimed at strengthening defence industrial base resilience, we established strategic principles with our partners to guide collaboration on defence industrial resilience. A key outcome of #PIPIR24 was the creation of four distinct work streams comprising of production, sustainment, supply chain resilience, and policy and optimisation, to accelerate defence industrial base cooperation by reducing barriers to production, creating new sustainment hubs, and addressing supply chain constraints. Multilateral cooperation is essential by complementing each other’s capabilities, rather than competing – we can create a more integrated and capable network of defence industries across the Indo-Pacific. 🌏 #YourADF
