If you believe in young people, they begin to believe in themselves.
As a storyteller at heart, I've invested the last 8 years of my life into the classroom. I'm not a qualified educator, although I have obtained a masters level of education. My own learning velocity, combined with the naive optimism that comes from being 'an outsider', compelled me to show up every day to move the needle in education. The system is a beast that I haven't been able to figure out, but the classroom has become a place I absolutely believe in and am extremely fond of. At the end of the day, education is about hearts and minds. Young people staring back at you waiting to hear something that will expand their thinking and stir the belief they have in themselves. When it starts to feel overwhelmingly complicated, I bring it all back to this: if you believe in young people, they begin to believe in themselves. Creatable
