Reflecting on my first year at Cooper Energy, and what a year it’s been! I’m incredibly proud of the achievements our team has accomplished together over the past 12 months. Here are a few highlights:   • Orbost Gas Plant production increased significantly, from an average of 46.2 TJ/d in Q1 FY24 to 62.3 TJ/d in Q1 FY25. 💪 • Athena and Orbost plants have delivered >99% reliability in FY25 year-to-date. ⚙️ • We realised $10.5 million in annualised net savings at the end of FY24, a testament to our focus on efficiency. 💰 • A 34% reduction in flaring at Orbost from FY23 to FY24, marking a strong commitment to sustainability. 🌍 • Ongoing trials to beneficially reuse our sulphur by-product in the Gippsland region – an exciting step forward in our environmental impact initiatives. 🌱   This year has been a great reflection of what’s possible when we think differently, act responsibly and deliver together towards ambitious goals. Excited for what’s next!   #Energy #Teamwork #Achievements #Proud #CooperEnergy

A big shout out to our fantastic keynote speaker, Anna Wiley for taking us through the key industry trends and challenges of copper mining as we transition to a world of renewables and electric vehicles. Let's also take a moment to give a round of applause (again!) to our incredible award winners: 🥇 Sir Eric Neal, inducted into the Energy Hall of Fame 🏆 James Sobey from Cooper Energy, our 2024 MinterEllison Young Energy Professional Award Winner 🌐 ElectraNet Pty Ltd's Project EnergyConnect, taking home the 2024 SA Energy Project of the Year Award. These awards highlight the exceptional contributions and innovations powering South Australia's energy landscape. With a record-breaking number of nominations this year, the competition was fiercer than ever, showcasing the amazing breadth of practical, future-focused projects happening across the state. None of this would have been possible without the support of our incredible sponsors and partners. A huge thanks to our Annual Dinner sponsor Santos Ltd, our Young Energy Professional Award sponsor MinterEllison and our corporate sponsors Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG), Fyfe Pty Ltd, RAA and SA Power Networks. We couldn't have done it without you! 🙌
