We are thrilled to announce the appointment of our new Director of Research Strategy and Operations, Associate Professor Andreas Behren, to support the ongoing growth of cancer research at Cancer Council NSW. Having extensive knowledge in cancer research, publishing over 60 articles in leading journals, and holding multiple national and internation patents based on his work, A/Prof Behren will support Cancer Council NSW in leading and developing strategic investment in life-saving research, including our extramural grants program. Welcome, Andreas! We are all excited to work alongside you. Together, we are tackling cancer and leading NSW towards a cancer free future. Our 5-year strategic plan sets out how we will do this, by changing the path of cancer and making sure no one walks alone.
