Russell Staley, National Category Manager, and Malcolm Rutledge, Category Manager, recently completed a 12-day business trip to China. This was an opportunity to engage with new and existing suppliers, to ensure we continue to offer our customers the best product range. “As we haven’t been to China since before COVID, this was long overdue” says Russell. “The trip was a chance to see our existing suppliers and tour potential new factories.” Witnessing Bullivants products being manufactured firsthand, provided invaluable insight into the production processes of various products. While in Shanghai, they also visited the Bullivants Test Laboratory, located within the Blackwoods CDC warehouse in the Shanghai free port zone. Joining Malcolm and Russell on this trip were our China-based employees Lance Xu, Test Lab Manager, and Greg Gao, Sourcing Manager. “It was great to see Lance and Greg and we were able to update them on Bullivants’ progress and initiative for the future” says Russell. Bullivants will continue to build strong relationships with key suppliers ensuring our products are of the highest quality and standard.
