Fun fact! 💚 All of our pieces are made with 100% post-consumer gold. Post consumer-gold is sourced from jewellery or tech, and it’s had one or sometimes more than one life cycle out in the world. The journey begins at the refinery where it’s melted down and the pure gold is extracted. It then ends at our casting house which alloys it down, depending on what we order. At Black Finch, sustainability and ethics underpins every decision we make, that’s why we don’t use mined gold in any of our designs. For the past two decades, we’ve been encouraging adventurous exploration in the world of jewellery, empowering clients with bold design choices to create treasures that are both deeply personal and truly one-of-a-kind. “We really like to keep on pushing the boundary of what we can do in design, and we feel very free. It can be hard with such expensive materials because you might think that playing it safe is the way to go, but we’ve found there are enough people who are interested in art but still want a really elevated and luxurious piece with an amazing finish.
