The project has clocked one million hours which is underpinned by an unwavering commitment to safety, collaboration and meticulous planning. It's been two years since BESIX Watpac successfully delivered the Wurriki Nyal Civic Precinct project. Winner of the 2022 MBV Excellence in Construction Award for Excellence in Health and Safety, the building serves as a central administrative office for the City of Greater Geelong and features an innovative and sustainable Cross Laminated Timber design. The 6-storey building includes active public spaces, co-working spaces, retail and food tenancies and end-of-trip facilities. Winner of the 2018 Masters Builders Association Award for Excellence, the high-tech facility provided ANSTO with the manufacturing capabilities to meet a significant portion of the worlds demand for Mo-99 - a critical life-saving radioisotope required by healthcare providers around the world for the diagnosis of cancers and heart disease. #FlashbackFriday’s | It’s been 6 years since we commenced construction on the Adelaide Airport Terminal Expansion project. Completed ahead of schedule in 2021, works included expanding the international inbound passenger processing and baggage claim facility, international arrivals duty free and passenger and immigration facilities. We also delivered a new retail concourse with passenger facilities and amenities, and provision for Virgin Australia and other international airline lounges. Recognised for its quality and complexity for delivery in a live environment within landside, sterile and airside areas, in 2022 the project won the Professional Excellence Award for Commercial Construction $60M+ at the state and national level!   #airportconstruction #airportbuilders #aviation #liveenvironment
