A massive thank you to Greg Inglis from Goanna Academy and Jason Banks from TIACS for joining our R U OK? Day Panel yesterday with BESIX Watpac’s Emily Brooks and Luke Shipperley. Live-streamed across Australia and New Zealand, our team engaged in meaningful conversations about mental health and well-being. Greg and Jason shared valuable insights, highlighting the importance of checking in on your mates every day. This year’s theme, “Ask R U OK? Any Day,” is especially significant given the mental health challenges faced by many construction workers. Our fantastic partnerships with Goanna Academy and TIACS help make it easier for our people to discuss mental health openly and demonstrate our commitment to fostering an industry where it’s always okay to ask, “R U OK?” #RUOKanyday #goannastrong #tiacs #trademutt #buildingthebestpartnerships #mentalwellbeing

We’re thrilled to announce that Array has recently achieved WELL Core Platinum Certification—the highest certification possible under the WELL Building Standard for advancing human health and well-being. Array is the first BESIX Watpac-constructed project and the first building in Sydney’s Macquarie Park to achieve this level of certification. Built for Kador as a greener building with amenities to promote health, productivity, and a desirable working lifestyle, the project also proudly secured a 5 Star Green Star Design & As Built certified rating earlier this year. Congratulations to our team and delivery partners on these incredible achievements. #buildingthebesttogether #IWBI NDY, Architectus, WSP in Australia, DJ Wear and Associates, Touchstone Partners, GJS Property, Actum Property Pty Ltd

We’ve reached a momentous point in the construction of Te Kaha, Canterbury’s Multi-Use Arena, also known as One New Zealand Stadium. The project has clocked one million hours which is underpinned by an unwavering commitment to safety, collaboration and meticulous planning. Great work to the entire project team, the arena is truly beginning to take shape now for clients Christchurch City Council - especially as works shift to installing the oculus. #buildingthebesttogether #constructionnewzealand

It's been two years since BESIX Watpac successfully delivered the Wurriki Nyal Civic Precinct project. Winner of the 2022 MBV Excellence in Construction Award for Excellence in Health and Safety, the building serves as a central administrative office for the City of Greater Geelong and features an innovative and sustainable Cross Laminated Timber design. The 6-storey building includes active public spaces, co-working spaces, retail and food tenancies and end-of-trip facilities. Our team worked to ensure the final result was a space that not only served its purpose but also enhanced the community it resided in. #BESIXWatpac #Sustainability #Community

We're experts in delivering complex health and life science projects, entrusted with the delivery of nationally significant projects, just like the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation’s (ANSTO) Nuclear Medicine Molybdenum-99 (Mo-99) facility. Winner of the 2018 Masters Builders Association Award for Excellence, the high-tech facility provided ANSTO with the manufacturing capabilities to meet a significant portion of the worlds demand for Mo-99 - a critical life-saving radioisotope required by healthcare providers around the world for the diagnosis of cancers and heart disease. It was estimated that half of all Australians would benefit from its use in their lifetime when it reached completion in 2017. #healthsciencefacility #awardwinningcontractor #lifescience
