Today we're excited to announce that Vocus has acquired TPG Telecom’s Enterprise, Government and Wholesale fixed business and fibre network assets for $5.25 billion. The new UK Government has made clean power by 2030 one of its defining missions. This will require significant investment - in the order of tens of billions of pounds annually. Our property team have been recognised as one of the highest risers in PERE's Global Investor 100, the annual ranking of real estate’s biggest investors. Almost half of the 100 investors ranked recorded a decline in the value of their real estate allocation over a year - a sign that the volatile macroeconomic climate has had a seismic impact on the private real estate portfolios of the world’s largest institutional allocators. Our Head of Property, Alek Misev, said the team’s strategy to rebalance its portfolio and decrease holdings in office and retail, over the last decade, was a key factor behind the 11% increase in our real estate portfolio. A big win for Aussie workers 🎉 Starting from 1 July 2026, super will be paid on your payday, rather than quarterly. (Payday is when an employer pays an employee their Ordinary Time Earnings (OTE).)
