This week, CEO Rachel Waterhouse appeared on Sky News Australia to discuss key topics ahead of AGM season, which is set to focus on pressing shareholder concerns like executive pay, climate reporting, and cyber resilience. With several companies likely to face scrutiny from shareholders this year, Rachel highlighted the significance of retail shareholders being able to engage directly with boards and management during AGMs. She emphasised the need for shareholders to ask tough questions, assess the company's leadership in person or online, and make informed decisions about their investments. Rachel also stressed the importance of hybrid AGMs, offering investors the flexibility to participate either in person or virtually, ensuring their voices are heard.
