It's National Carers Week – an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the 3 million Australians providing unpaid care and support to their family and friends. According to the Carers Australia's latest Carer Wellbeing Survey, carers are more than 3 times more likely to report high levels of loneliness compared to the average Australian. The survey also found that carers with good support from friends and family are 55% more likely to have healthy levels of wellbeing.
