Army in the community 💙❤️ #AusArmy soldiers from 6th Brigade joined Royal Australian Air Force and Royal Australian Navy members, with Rheinmetall Defence Australia volunteers to help Legacy Australia with a ‘Backyard Assist’ makeover. They spent the morning weeding, trimming and mulching the gardens in the house yard of former Signaller Shirley Ross, who is also a Legacy widow. ℹ️ The Legacy Backyard Assist program, which commenced in 2015, focuses on providing a safe, accessible and easily maintained house yard environment for Legacy families, especially elderly and isolated dependents who do not have regular access to support. 📸 LCPL Luke Donegan
