#StrongerTogether! The team have done it, they conquered the Mount Kinabalu climb. Over 5 hours, they took on a 6km (seemingly endless) vertical climb- pushing through fatigue, heat, rain and altitude until they were 3,352 metres above sea level at the Laban Rata Rest House. At 3am, they tackled another 4 hour climb to the Low’s Peak summit, an impressive 4,095 metres above sea level! Humbled by the beautiful sunrise before their 9km descent down steep rocks and steps, the group agreed that Mount Kinabalu was the toughest physical endurance that any of them had experienced and were reminded that this was nothing compared to the challenges of those seeking safety from domestic violence!
