    Your first marketing campaign round up of 2024! As a marketer, I love analysing the different types of marketing and creative activations in January because it sets us up for the year ahead. Here are 5 campaigns that stood out for me: → Cadbury British chocolate brand, Cadbury, celebrate 200 years of legacy with an integrated marketing campaign: - full page ad across newspapers in the U.K. - remake of their 2008 commercial ‘mum’s birthday’ - 7 limited edition retro packaging designs from 1915 to 2024 - out of home ads sharing old family photos that have a Cadbury product in them It’s been phenomenal to see a marketing campaign bring back memories, be creative, involve the community and show the power of having a strong brand! → Mean Girls Movie I love when the marketing is so…. fetch 💅🏼 As Mean Girls The Musical hit our cinema screens a few weeks ago, the marketing teams were playful on promoting the film. This bus ad is a clever piece of marketing as it references a scene in the original movie (if you know you know). It’s iconic, effective and fun! → KitKat A very relatable, relevant and on brand out of home creative! As the U.K weather dropped to freezing cold temperatures earlier this month, KitKat remind us to ‘take a brrr…eak ’ from the cold, and have a KitKat. I love the design of the ice being scraped off a car windshield. Absolutely brilliant. → Amazon I love this one from Amazon and Wieden + Kennedy because it shows you the contrast of what the brand has to offer… from this to that, which supports their logo symbolism (A-Z) and their consistent focus on their customers. Whatever you need… ‘It’s on Prime’ 📦 → McDonald’s This is a reminder you don’t need to overcomplicate your marketing. Simple, brilliant and creative ad by Leo Burnett for McDonald’s to promote their breakfast menu, including the iconic, Sausage & Egg McMuffin.
