At Allianz, we’re thrilled to celebrate the Paralympic Games with our very own Tina McKenzie PLY, Team Manager in Personal Injury and a three-time Paralympic medallist. From her early days in Wheelchair Tennis to representing Australia’s Wheelchair Basketball team, The Gliders, Tina’s remarkable sporting career has made her a true Paralympic Hero. With over 100 caps for Australia and numerous World Championship medals from 1999 to 2012, Tina’s Paralympic career includes two silver medals from Athens 2004 and London 2012, and a bronze from Beijing 2008. Today, Tina continues to inspire as an Assistant Coach for the Gliders. The resilience, focus, teamwork, and lived experience Tina developed on the court now empower her to support her team and our customers at Allianz. #GoAustraliaahhh #LetsCareForTomorrow

It was a golden day for Alexa Leary at La Défense Arena! Hours after breaking her own world record in the women’s 100m freestyle S9 heats, she did it again in the finals, earning Australia’s third swimming gold medal at Paris 2024 with a time of 59.53 seconds—0.07 seconds faster than her heat.
