Largest compressor module arrives at Pluto Train 2 construction site. The first of three refrigeration compressor modules for Pluto Train 2 have safely arrived in Karratha and will be pieced together on site by the Woodside and Bechtel Corporation construction teams. The compressor module weighs in at 3460 metric tonnes and is 60 metres long and 30 metres wide. When installation is complete, more than 3600 cubic metres of concrete will be poured around the module base foundation, compressor deck and support columns to set the module in place. Forming part of the Scarborough Energy Project, this milestone for Pluto Train 2 signifies another step forward for the construction phase of the project.
