Largest compressor module arrives at Pluto Train 2 construction site. The first of three refrigeration compressor modules for Pluto Train 2 have safely arrived in Karratha and will be pieced together on site by the Woodside and Bechtel Corporation construction teams. The compressor module weighs in at 3460 metric tonnes and is 60 metres long and 30 metres wide. When installation is complete, more than 3600 cubic metres of concrete will be poured around the module base foundation, compressor deck and support columns to set the module in place. Forming part of the Scarborough Energy Project, this milestone for Pluto Train 2 signifies another step forward for the construction phase of the project. If you’d like to see how Pluto Train 2 has started to come together, watch the first modules' arrival, available here: http://spr.ly/6044bOAwu The Scarborough Energy Project will contribute an estimated $19 billion in direct taxes, has a commitment to spend $90 million with local Karratha businesses and is targeting first LNG cargo in 2026. The Alevro and Bechtel teams recently completed the successful installation of the Heavies Removal Column (HRC) at Pluto Train 2, marking a major milestone for the project's progress. Using a Tower Lift System (TLS) and a 1,600t capacity crawler crane, the HRC stands tall at 42.6m and weighs a whopping 1,200t, making a significant mark on the site skyline.    The meticulous planning for this feat began over a year ago, with over 3,000 hrs of engineering to tailor the TLS to the project's unique needs. Every detail was analysed to ensure compliance with Australian Standards and local regulations, demonstrating the teams unwavering commitment to safety and excellence.   From the mobilisation of equipment from across the globe to the intricate coordination during the 11hr upending operation, every step was a testament to teamwork and expertise. We extend our congratulations to everyone involved in this accomplishment!

In February, we achieved a major milestone with the successful arrival of the first module shipment on the Pluto Train 2 Project in Karratha. This shipment consisting of three modules, including the massive Cryogenic Rack module, weighing 2800 tonnes, marks a significant step forward for the Scarborough Energy Project’s Pluto Train 2.   Overcoming challenges like navigating one of Australia's steepest port roads, we ensured the safe transportation of this module supported by 12 months of detailed planning and specialised Self Propelled Modular Trailer (SPMT) equipment.   Alevro's commitment to safety shines through in this accomplishment, highlighting our expertise in complex logistics.   Thanks to our partners and the dedicated team for making this achievement possible.
