How do you find out what clients truly value when working with your business? When I started (like most of you) I wore all the hats, and one of those was being the (only) point of contact for all the clients. One thing I loved about this was it kept my “fingers on the pulse” of the relationship with the client, which helped me appreciate what aspects of the service/product the clients truly valued. In September we hosted our first ‘Future Leaders Week’ at Air Accounting which included a ‘Client Tour’ where our future leaders visited a few of our clients at their premises. It was great to make space for the team to strengthen the connection between Air and its clients. Importantly, it presented an opportunity for the future leaders to hear from each client what specifically it was they valued in their relationship with their accountant. Had we, as business owners, mentioned these to the team before? Absolutely – all the time. But as Randy from our team mentioned after the session: 💡 “…it just ‘hits different’ hearing it directly from the client.” We had such a great time catching up with Jacques Dejardin from Long Chim, Ben Nash from Pivot Wealth, Christopher & Dylan from Duo Duo Icecream / Kuki Desserts, and Rock from Top Impression. Thank you for taking the time to share your journey, and what you truly value, with the team 🙏
