Shriner is a board-certified family nurse practitioner.
While working as a nurse in the emergency department, Shriner realized the need for preventive care and education in her community. She returned to school to expand her role and be able to provide that needed service.
She received her master’s degree in nursing at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Outside of work, she likes to spend time with her husband and 2 dogs, a German-Australian shepherd mix and a golden retriever. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, friends and dogs and traveling, especially to the Caribbean.
