Biography

“I have always had a passion for helping people and patients. Cardiology, and specifically the treatment of heart failure, allows me to develop a close relationship with my patients as we strive to improve both patient quantity and quality of life.”

Dr. Doshi is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology. He specializes in heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure and pulmonary hypertension.

He has published research on the use of cell-free DNA in rejection monitoring post heart transplantation.

Dr. Doshi received his undergraduate degree in biology at Duke University and his medical degree at Wake Forest University. He completed residency at the University of Cincinnati and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Virginia Commonwealth University. He completed a sub-fellowship in advanced heart failure and transplantation at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

When he’s not working, Dr. Doshi enjoys spending time with his wife and dog. He loves being outside, running, playing sports or hiking. He also likes to travel as much as possible and enjoys trying all types of cuisine.
