Ein Flugzeug, das fährt.“ Vor wenigen Wochen präsentierte PRIMUS AERO im Rahmen einer Veranstaltung ein innovatives Fortbewegungsmittel auf dem Vorfeld des #grazairport – 𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐀𝐋-𝐕 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲, 𝐝𝐚𝐬 𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐭. Was nach Zukunftsmusik klingt, ist also teilweise schon Realität und hat auch am #flughafengraz für Neugier gesorgt. Der PAL-V Liberty bietet Platz für 2 Personen und kann innerhalb von 5 Minuten vom Auto zum Gyrocopter umgebaut werden. Im Fahrmodus erreicht das Fahrzeug eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 160 km/h bei einer Beschleunigung von 0 auf 100 in weniger als 9 Sekunden und eine maximale Reichweite von 1.315 km. Im Flugmodus beträgt die Höchstgeschwindigkeit 180 km/h, die maximale Flughöhe 3.500 m und die maximale Reichweite 400–500 km. Für die Landung benötigt das Flugauto eine Rollstrecke von ca. 30 m.
