Celal Karakoc works since 40 years at HEAD! Unbelievable when you imagine how long 40 years really are. In 1984, when Celal was just 17 years old, he joined HEAD. His father was working in tennis production in Kennelbach at that time and so it was, that Celal also begun working at HEAD. Celal started as a shift helper on the night shift in the ski pressing department - gluing and pressing the various ski elements were his main tasks. He was always very committed and enjoyed his work, which is why he was quickly promoted and then became shift supervisor in the early 1990s. Since 2008 he is also chairman of the of the Workers' Council. Celal himself did not expect to have no other employer from then on. But HEAD has become like a second family to him, work colleagues have become friends 😊 He still really enjoys his job and appreciates that he has always had the freedom to make decisions himself and was involved in finding solutions. HEAD is proud to have such loyal and motivated employees like Celal. Congratulations on your 40th company anniversary!

Career Information Fair Schwechat On October 10th and 11th, the Youth and Career Information Fair 2024 took place at Schwechat Airport near Vienna. With our brand HEAD | TYROLIA we are the market leader in the alpine ski binding sector, which is manufactured exclusively in Schwechat. In Schwechat, we train apprentices in the fields of surface technology, metal technology and plastics technology. Of course, we also had a stand at the fair and were able to answer numerous questions on the subject of training. On the first day of the fair, various school classes from the region came with their teachers and were introduced to the various apprenticeships by our HEAD | TYROLIA employees. On day two of the fair, parents and their children had the opportunity to get an idea of the many great training opportunities at HEAD | TYROLIA. In an exciting raffle, in which the children and young people had to estimate how much plastic granulate is needed to produce a ski binding, they were then able to win great prizes. We are looking forward to potential employees of tomorrow and can look back on two successful days at the fair. #career #youngtalents #head #tyrolia

WELCOME DAY AT HEAD In September our new trainees and interns started at HEAD and to welcome them warmly we organized a “Welcome Day” for them. At HEAD teamwork is a top priority and to help our HEAD newbies to connect and get to know each other better, the day startet with different games and activites. Afterwards the were introduced to the company history by Ottmar Barbian, EVP Racquetsports, and learned a lot about how HEAD erased to a world brand.
