Integrity, resilience, creativity and execution strength – these are some of the qualities that cannot be replaced by AI. Yet, we’re not learning any of this in schools, where we still teach as we did 200 years ago. This approach will soon come back to haunt us – why? More on that in this post.

The world of highly qualified work is undergoing a seismic shift, due to the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence (AI). The rise of AI is changing the very nature of work. It’s no longer about mastering a specific skill or memorizing vast amounts of knowledge. Instead, the focus is shifting towards problem-solving, creativity, and adaptability. The ability to work alongside AI tools, understand their potential, and leverage them to innovate will define the future workforce.#artificialintelligence #leadership #future ofwork https://lnkd.in/dgZQ_upZ

Foolish behavior harms both ourselves and others – yet, we see it everywhere: in politics, organizations, and personal relationships, what frustrates and annoys us. In leadership roles, foolish actions can cause serious damage - so, how can we cope with it? Addressing the topic of foolishness comes with risks – you might be seen as a know-it-all. For the record, I too often act foolishly and fall into traps of self-deception, happy to share more in this blog.

For years, middle management resisted AI, clinging to the comfort zone with, "We don't need that; people matter." Our prosperity and competitiveness are on the line, and the light recession is only accelerating this—businesses can't afford inefficiency anymore. But this shift demands leaders to adapt, redefine roles, and leverage human skills like never before. On our learning journeys to Silicon Valley we exactly learn how companies are navigating these changes—and how you can too. #leadership #artificialintelligence

It’s a common belief that hard work and exceptional skills naturally lead to success. However, recent research sheds new light on the role of luck and networks in achieving success. These studies suggest that it’s not always the most talented who rise to the top – often, it’s those in the right place at the right time, or those with the right connections. Branko Milanovic, a renowned researcher on social inequality, has shown that up to 60% of income differences can be explained by the country of birth. In other words, those who become wealthy often had the fortune of being born in a rich country. A fascinating study, "Talent vs Luck: The Role of Randomness in Success and Failure" by Alessandro Pluchino, Andrea Rapisarda, and Cesare Garofalo, examined how strongly luck influences individual success over two years of research involving over 1,000 participants - happy to share more in this blog. #culture #success #leadership

When tradition meets innovation, what a great journey of #Swaxbox ,congratulations to @manuelseiss and the whole team of SPRINGER
#SAWBOX & Green Footprint The SAWBOX system is a "real-life" example of sustainability straight from the wood industry. Why? - the power consumption for the whole sawmill is reduced to 200 - 300 kWh (on sunny days you can run your sawmill with the power of the sun…) ☀️ - massively reduced emissions of oil, dust and noise (e.g. no need for a log yard...) - minimised land sealing. The SAWBOX needs only a fraction of the production space compared to traditional sawmills. And most importantly, the transport of logs is reduced to a minimum. The plant works where the material grows. 👍 #SAWBOX: compact, automated, smart. SPRINGER

"Innovation has nothing to do with how many R&D dollars you have. When Apple came up with the Mac, IBM was spending at least 100 times more on R&D. It's not about money. It's about the people you have, how you're led, and how much you get it."(Steve Jobs)

"When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me" (Erma Bombeck) In life, it is not about what I can get but what I can give with my potentials and talents. Unleashing these can bring incredible joy. Unfortunately, we have often a different narrative, how can I lead a comfortable life, more in this podcast https://lnkd.in/gQvt5b-2
