This Etruscan cinerary urn is ‘biconical’: that is, it has a clear ‘bend’ in the middle. Most urns of this type are made of pottery, but bronze ones are also found. This urn was assembled from separate sections and joined at the bend with rivets. The decorations are schematic, consisting of lines on the upper half. The lid sports a handle in the shape of a little flower.
